The Square Route Mixtape

The individual behind the square route mixtape (KingPin) does not aspire to be a rapper. What he is an individual who has had a growing concern over the direction Rap has been moving in over the past decade. Rather than sit n complain about it he decided to make a mixtape inspired by the '90s rap he grew up on.

There is no stanky leggin, cha cha slidin, or follow my directions dance on the mixtape. Its a collection of songs that have a voice. its a man speakin about some personal experience, and more so on the observations said man made as he grew up in the 4 square. Hence its name, the square route. It was made with a pair of headphones, an average laptop, and a guitar hero microphone. Judge the performance 4 yourself. Personally, i think its better than half the stuff thats out now.

U can listen to it for free here: The Square Route Mixtape
